Wax doll dressed as a baby in a cradle with accompanying equipment including frocks, nightdresses, jackets, mittens, hoods, petticoats, diapers, vests, socks, sheets, pillowcases, feeding utensils and jeweller
Восковая кукла- младенец в люльке с сопутствующим приданым, включая платья, рубашки, куртки, рукавицы, колпачки, юбки, подгузники, жилетки, носки, простыни, наволочки, посуда для кормления и украшения.
Эта кукла была сделана для лотереи в помощь бедным, она получила золотую медаль на выставке 1895 года в Амстердаме. Она была очень ценным призом в государственной лотерее для бедных, поскольку в комплект приданого входили настоящие вещи для младенца.
Так как никто не вышел вперед, чтобы получить выигрыш, кукла, и ее вещи были проданы тем, кто хотел сделать нечто подобное в Англии. Она была в конечном счете отдана герцогине Йоркской (впоследствии королевы ).

This wax over composition baby doll carries the winged helmet trade mark of Cuno and Otto Dressel of Sonneberg in Germany, and dates from between 1874 and 1876. She has blue glass eyes, a blonde mohair wig, and an open mouth showing teeth. She wears real baby clothes.

Но качество их гардероба поражает- вещи сшиты по взрослой технологии, с соблюдением всех правил: сложнейшая обработка деталей, подкладки, перчаток. У кукол было все- от мебели, ванн, утвари- до косметики и даже пуховки для пудры или флакончика сельтерской воды.
